Football Federation Launches Annual Veteran’s Fundraiser


The JFF officially launched the Annual Football Veteran’s fundraiser at the federation’s head office in New Kingston, today.

The JFF announced the hosting of two Charity football matches at York Oval in St. Thomas on January 1.

Revenue from the matches will be used to assist former national players who’ve fallen on hard times.

President of the JFF, Michael Ricketts, says a special committee will be establish to manage the fund.

The games will feature a former players all-star team versus a masters and celebrity all-star team and the Reggae Boyz versus an All-Premier League eleven.

Ricketts says media personnel will be tasked to select the All- Premier League eleven.
