The Hunts Bay police have charged former Waterhouse player, Roberto Fletcher with murder and wounding with intent.
Investigators alleged that Fletcher, who is also known as Haiti, and another man opened gunfire on two men along 4-40 Drive, in the community of Waterhouse, during a reported gang feud in the area, on October 9.
One of the men, Ashley Thompson, died. The second man was hospitalised. Fletcher is booked to appear in court later this week.
Fletcher also represented Highgate, Tivoli and Humble Lion in the Premier League.
