Fraser-Pryce Steps Out As New Voice In Sports For Female Empowerment


Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce says she’s honoured to be recorded in history as someone that uses her career to motivate women and girls.

Fraser-Pryce was a member of the Athletes panel at the ESPN Women’s Summit in California, today.

In the women’s 100-metres final at the IAAF World Championships, Fraser-Pryce added title number four, a decade after winning her maiden crown.

This came 13 months after giving birth to her son, Zyon.

Fraser-Pryce says she’s happy to lend her voice to fight for female empowerment.
