Chris Gayle and Shimron Hetmyer each scored a century in the West Indies 60-runs win over the United Arab Emirates in their first match of the ICC World Cup Qualifiers in Zimbabwe, today.
Batting first, the Windies 357 for 4 off their 50-overs.
Gayle’s 123 came off 91-ball and included 7-fours and 11-sixes, while, Hetnyer hit 14-fours and 4-sixes in his 127.
In reply, the UAE were bowled out for 297 off 50 overs with Rameez Shahzad top scoring with an unbeaten 112.
Windies skipper Jason Holder finished with figures of 5 for 53.
