JLP Chairman, Robert Montague, has instructed the party’s four area councils to complete putting their house in order and not be distracted by the ongoing leadership race in the PNP.
Mr. Montague issued the directive when he addressed a JLP Area Council 3 meeting yesterday.
The militant JLP Chairman declared that he attended the Area Council meeting on Labour Party business and not to win friends.
Mr. Montague instructed the JLP Area Council 3 to correct its failure to submit a report on the state of all constituencies in the area.
The JLP Chairman says too many of the party’s candidates appear to be attempting to rely on the popularity of Prime Minister and JLP Leader, Andrew Holness, in order to secure victory in their constituencies.
He says that must change.
The JLP Chairman also instructed labourites not to be distracted by the ongoing leadership race in the opposition party.
