Former Justice Minister, Mark Golding, is criticizing his successor, Delroy Chuck, for what he sees as his undue criticism of judges.
Minister Chuck recently hinted at sanctions applied in other jurisdictions where judges fail to deliver judgements six months after a hearing.
The Opposition Spokesman on Justice says such statements have a negative effect on the judiciary.
He argues that the Minister may be overstepping his bounds as a member of the executive.
