Gov’t Continues Wellness Drive With Laws To Discourage Tobacco Consumption

Health and Wellness Minister Dr Christopher Tufton says the government has begun the process of enacting laws to address gaps and discourage tobacco consumption.

Dr Tufton says the proposed law is to be taken before Cabinet by the end of this month.

He says collaboration between ministries, departments and agencies of government is critical to dealing with the challenges facing the tobacco sector.
