Govt Prepares 3 Days of Olympic Celebrations

Minister of Sports, Olivia “Babsy” Grange, says the government will be hosting three days of celebration to honor the Rio Olympic and Paralympic athletes.

Minister Grange says 17 of the country’s overseas based athletes have already accepted her invitation to the events from October 14 to 16.

The first round of celebrations will be hosted in Kingston.

Minister Grange says western Jamaica will also get to share their love and respect for the athletes.
