Govt Preparing for Teachers’ Industrial Action – Thwaites

Education Minister Ronald Thwaites says his Ministry is prepared for the possibility of teachers taking industrial action.

This after teachers reportedly walked out of a meeting with JTA President Doran Dixon over the weekend.

Mr. Dixon was presenting the government’s improved offer of a 7-percent wage increase over two years.
