Gov’t Pressing Ahead with Negril Breakwater – McNeill

Tourism Minister, Dr. Wykeham McNeill says despite strong opposition from stakeholder groups, the government will press ahead with plans to construct breakwaters in the Long Bay area of Negril in Westmoreland.

His comments comes on the heels of the move by a group of tourism and environmental stakeholders in Negril, to write to the Office of the Public Defender, asking for its intervention in the project.
