The Government has not responded to an ultimatum by the Police Federation over wage talks.
The Police Federation says it giving the government until the end of business today, to indicate when it will begin wage negotiations.
In a statement to the media, the Federation says it has been waiting for more than six weeks for notice of a meeting to engage in talks.
Chairman of the Federation, Sergeant Raymond Wilson, says they last met with technocrats of the Ministry of Finance in March.
Sergeant Wilson says if he doesn’t hear from the government today, the Federation will convene an islandwide delegates meeting to determine the way forward.
