Acting Regional Director of the Western Regional Health Authority (WRHA) Errol Greene is admitting he’s not satisfied with the level of security being provided at public health facilities.

His comment comes one week after a baby boy was stolen from the neonatal ward at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital in downtown Kingston.

The maternity hospital did not have any surveillance camera in place and the security guard was not at the post at the time of the incident.

Mr Greene says he’s been working closely with the police in Western Jamaica to prevent a repeat of the incident that occurred at Victoria Jubilee Hospital.
