The National Works Agency, NWA, is advising the motoring public that beginning this morning at 9:00AM a section of the Greenvale to Spur Tree Main Road in Manchester will be reduced to single lane traffic in the vicinity of the Total Gas Station.
The NWA says the lane restriction is to facilitate rehabilitative roadworks on a section of the corridor.
It says the work which is to be undertaken over a six-week period will impact the eastbound and westbound lanes intermittently.
The NWA says some $21-million is being spent on the project under the ongoing $1.35-billion Local Rehabilitation and Drainage Improvement Programme.
Motorists are being reminded to obey the instructions of the flagmen and traffic signs posted along the corridor during the stipulated period.
