Guidelines Needed for use of CCTV

Advocacy Manager at Jamaicans For Justice, Rodje Malcolm, says clear statutory guidelines must be established to govern the use of closed circuit television, CCTVs.

The integration of CCTVs into a national network is one of the measures being targeted by the government to increase security.

Mr. Malcolm says he expects the guidelines to address publicly defined zones.

Malcolm says whatever regulations are established they need to be readily available to the public.
