Lawmakers in the House of Representatives clashed this afternoon as Government MP, Mikhail Phillips, tabled a motion calling for Opposition MP, Everald Warmington, to be sanctioned for his reference to Youth Minister Lisa Hanna as a Jezebel.

Phillips, the MP for North West Manchester, argued that Mr. Warmington should be punished.

The motion which called for Mr. Warmington to be sanctioned immediately drew the ire of Opposition MPs.

Opposition member Delroy Chuck accused Mr. Phillips of bringing the House of Representatives into disrepute.

West Portland MP Daryl Vaz was heard shouting off mic, that Government Members called the South West St. Catherine MP a ‘B-Man’, prior to his Jezebel comment.

Leader of Government Business in the House, Phillip Paulwell, attempted to move proceedings along. But Mr. Chuck persisted.
