The Met Service is predicting moderate to heavy rain for St. Elizabeth and other parts of central Jamaica tomorrow.
That’s good news for farmers in the breadbasket parish, who’ve been enduring severe drought conditions for the past few months.
Lawrence Brown is Senior Forecaster at the National Met Service.
According to the forecast, a trough should remain across Jamaica until tomorrow, when a Tropical Wave enters the central Caribbean.
Mr. Brown says the rainy and cloudy conditions are expected to dissipate by Thursday.
Meanwhile, a small craft warning remains in effect for offshore areas of the south coast due to strong winds and rough seas in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms.
