Hockey Rink Plans on North Coast Fast-tracked – Grange

Minister of Sports, Olivia Grange, says her ministry will be fast tracking plans to establish an Ice Hockey Rink on Jamaica’s North Coast.

Minister Grange says she was further encouraged by the national team’s recent triumph at the Amerigol LATAM Cup Championships.

The Jamaicans beat the defending champion Colombia 3-2 in a shootout in the final in Florida.

Minister Grange says the investors have already been identified.

Minister Grange reiterate that Jamaica’s hockey team will not be able to participate in the Winter Olympics if Jamaica does not have an ice rink.
