A student from Holmwood Technical High School in Manchester is hanging on to life this afternoon, after being stabbed by another student.
Head of the Manchester Police, Superintendent Vendolyn Cameron-Powell, says the stabbing happened yesterday evening on the school’s compound.
She says three students were involved.
Superintendent Cameron-Powell says this is the second such stabbing in recent months.
She says feuds and violent incidents have been an ongoing problem at the school.
However, the Superintendent says the problem is not isolated to Holmwood, as student violence continues to be a problem across the country.
