State Minister in the Ministry of National Security, Senator Pearnel Charles Junior, says the government will not be intervening in the campaign funds controversy rocking the People’s National Party, PNP.

The controversy started after a leaked report from PNP Treasurer Norman Horne, alleged that senior members of the party collected money from the private sector and other donors but failed to turn it over to the party.

Speaking with Nationwide News today, Senator Charles says any intervention by the Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, administration would be seen as being political.
