Holness Could Release Statutory Declarations If Integrity Commission Delays Publication

Prime Minister Andrew Holness, says he’ll release his statutory declarations  himself if there’re further delays coming from the Integrity Commission.

Prime Minister Holness says he hopes the Commission publishes his declarations this week.

Opposition Leader, Dr. Peter Phillips’ statutory declarations to the Commission were released over two weeks ago.

Since then, pressure has been mounting on the Prime Minister to follow suit.

In a statement today, Dr. Phillips says he’s considering legal action to force the Integrity Commission to publish Prime Minister Holness’ declaration.

But, Mr. Holness is pleading for the public to be patient with the Commission.
