Prime Minister Andrew Holness says the Government of Jamaica will respond decisively to a recent spate of violent crime in Montego Bay, St. James.
He says criminals should not be comforted by the Opposition’s move to effectively shut down the State of Public Emergency last year which is largely credited as being the driving force behind a 70-per cent decline in murders in the parish.
Sections of St. James have been rocked in recent days by murders and shootings.
The Prime Minister says he’s watching the developments closely.
