Consulting Chief Insights Officer at Blue Dot polls, Chavanie Clarke, says an earlier measurement of the country’s corruption perception last year found that more than 80% of Jamaicans believed the government was corrupt.

She says Prime Minister Andrew Holness is also enjoying a higher level of acceptance than the party he leads while seemingly being insulated from the daggers the party faces.

Ms Clarke says Prime Minister Holness is very popular among Jamaicans.

Meanwhile, the Chief Insights Officer says the Opposition Leader, Dr Peter Phillips, doesn’t enjoy as much popularity as a leader.
