ICC Reviewing Fund Distribution Structure

2003

President of Cricket West Indies, Ricky Skerritt, says the ICC is currently reviewing the way funds are distributed among its member associations.

At present the big three – England, Australia and India get the lion’s share of the financial allotments.

Skerritt says while he can’t state if this practice will change, he’s expecting a decision with in a few months.

Skerritt believes the ICC should adopt the formula used by English Premier football League in their distribution of revenue.

He says this will allow the smaller nations to be more competitive.
