Infant Recovering after Trench Town Shooting

A 16-month old infant who was injured in a shoot out in Trench town earlier this week is now at home recovering.

The infant is one of several persons who’ve been shot, some fatally, in the troubled Kingston West Police Division over the past six weeks.

Commanding Officer for the Division, Senior Superintendent, Cornwall Bigga Ford, says his officers have increased their presence in the trouble spots.

SSP Ford says his team is determined to eliminate the gang warfare which has been wreaking havoc in the division.
