The National Security Minister says the public has lost confidence in politicians and the security forces.

He says corruption within the security forces and the political sphere has tainted their efforts.

He’s hoping to change the narrative.

He says Jamaica and the region have inherited security forces from colonizers, which are now antiquated.

In the meantime, Dr Chang says plans are in place to begin the transformation of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
