Investigations Continue into Murder of MoBay Businessman


The police say investigations are ongoing into the murder of a 52-year-old businessman from Montego Bay, St. James, Winston Chue.

Mr. Chue was murdered Wednesday evening in front of one of his establishments. His licensed firearm was taken from him by his killer who reportedly shot him multiple times in the head.

Head of the police Corporate Communications Unit, Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, says the police have been doing a lot of work to find who’s responsible.

Superintendent Lindsay says Divisional Commander of St. James, Senior Superintendent Marlon Nesbeth, is looking at the case to find evidence leading to a suspect.

She’s appealing for any witness to come forward with information.

No motive has been established for Mr. Chue’s murder.
