Ja Unlikely to Meet Wage-to-GDP Target


Finance Minister, Dr. Peter Phillips says it’s unlikely that Jamaica will meet its target of reducing the wage bill to 9-percent of GDP by next year.

He says there are several factors that could influence the outcome.

And Dr. Phillips is also hinting at an early election.

But he says any gains will not be squandered for short term political benefit.
