A bush fire that has been raging in the Jack’s Hill area since last evening is being brought under control.
According to Firefighter Christopher Kerr, the blaze is being contained by units from the Half Way Tree and York Park fire station with the assistance of the JDF’s air support.
The fire is not a threat to residents and their properties.
Firefighters are still on the scene.
