Jamaica Condemns Brussels Attack

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator Kamina Johnson Smith is sending condolences to the people of Belgium following terror attacks in the capital Brussels.

Senator Johnson Smith tweeted this morning that she’s extending sincere sympathies to the Government and the people of Belgium.

She also condemned this latest terror attack

Senator Johnson Smith says she made contact with Jamaica’s Ambassador to Brussels, Vilma McNish, regarding the terror attack.

She says the Ambassador McNish and her staff are safe.

Senator Johnson Smith says the Ambassador has also assured her that Jamaican students studying in Brussels are also safe.
