Jamaica Cycling Dismisses Doping Reports

President of the Jamaica Cycling Federation, Kirk Finnikin, says reports that Jamaican cyclist, Marloe Rodman, has tested positive for a banned substance are unfounded.

Media reports out of Guyana say Rodman along with Barbadian Darren Matthews and Alonzo Greaves of Guyana, returned positive results following the Guyana Five-Stage Road Race last October.

Finnikin says there has been no official communication from the regional anti-doping agency, the body that did the testing.

Finnikin says the allegation started from a misrepresentation of the facts on social media.
