Jamaica Ends World Indoors with Two Field Medals

The IAAF’s World Indoor Championships ended yesterday with Jamaica picking up two silver medals from field event athletes.

Danniel Thomas-Dodd threw 19.22-metres to give Jamaica it’s the first medal in the women’s shot put, while Kimberly Williams leapt to 14.48-metres to take second in the women’s triple jump on day three.

Sports analyst, Leighton Levy says he wasn’t surprised that none of the sprinters was among the medalist.

Levy says what impressed him most was the manner in which Thomas-Dodd and Williams won their medals.
