Jamaica Experiencing Higher than Average Temperatures


As the summer gets into full swing, the Meteorological Service, says Jamaica is experiencing above average temperatures for this time of year.

Climate Service Specialist in the Climate Branch of the Met Service, Glenroy Brown, says Jamaica’s daytime temperatures have exceeded what’s considered normal due to global warming.

Mr. Brown says temperatures in Jamaica have risen about two degrees Celsius since the official start of the summer a little over two weeks ago.
