Jamaica Needs $US3-billion To Implement Efficient Water Systems


Minister without Portfolio in the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation, Pearnel Charles Junior, says it will cost over $US3 billion to implement efficient water systems.

Mr Charles, who’s a former State Minister in the Foreign Ministry, says he’s seeking to leverage the support of the international community.

He says he’s also seeking to form partnerships with recognized international entities.

He was speaking at a recent water forum hosted by Generation 2000 G2K.
