Jamaica Producers Group increased its consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders by 67-percent for the second quarter ended June 30, compared to the same period in 2017.
Second quarter revenues were also up 20-percent over 2017.
Year-to-date profits attributable to shareholders for the 26-week period ended June 30 were up 65-percent, with revenues up 25-percent.
During the first half, Jamaica Producers earned net profit attributable to shareholders of $415-million on revenues of over $9-billion.
Chairman of Jamaica Producers, Charles Johnson, says the company will continue on a programme of investment and structuring, designed to improve product and service offering while enhancing operating efficiency.
