Jamaica Receiving Lion’s Share of Chinese Infrastructure Development Projects


Jamaica has benefited the most, from the USD$1.5-billion the Government of China has set aside for infrastructure development projects in Caribbean countries.

That’s according to Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica, Niu Quingbao.

He says the Government of China is also available to provide preferential loan assistance to Jamaica for other developmental projects.

Niu Quinbao was speaking Tuesday afternoon at a media conference for the signing of a USD$19-million contract to improve Constant Spring Road. The media conference was at Jamaica House.
