JDF Ready to Provide Hurricane Assistance

The Jamaica Defence Force, JDF, says it’s monitoring the disaster left by Hurricane Irma in several islands of the Caribbean.

Civil Military Cooperation and Media Affairs Officer at the JDF, Major Basil Jarrett, says the organization is ready to provide assistance.

Major Basil Jarrett says the JDF is collaborating with the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management to help where possible.

Stevian Simmonds is an investigative journalist with almost 3 years of experience in radio broadcasting, production and reporting.
