JFF To Probe Failure Of Under-23 To Pass Olympics Qualifying Round

President of the Jamaica Football Federation, Michael Ricketts, says he’s expecting a technical report into the failure of the country’s under-23 team to progress pass the first qualifying round for the Olympics.

Jamaica were dumped out of the competition after drawing both games in their qualifying group.

Mr. Ricketts says although the likes of Leon Bailey, Peter Lee Vassel and Shemar Nicholson were eligible to play, they were withheld by their clubs.

But he says the technical staff were confident of progressing without them.

Mr. Ricketts says the JFF will have to do a review of the junior programme.
