JMA President Optimistic About 2016 Growth

The President of the Jamaica Manufacturers’ Association, Metry Seaga says he believes Jamaica’s economy can attain the 2.1% expansion in GDP, as forecast by the World Bank for the 2016 calendar year.

But he says that for this to happen, the government will have to continue to implement crucial reforms.

The JMA boss says there’s also need for procurement and energy reform.
