Johnson’s Strong Start

Dustin Johnson made a strong start on his return to whistling straits as Tiger Woods struggled in the opening round of the US PGA championship.

Johnson, who was given a two-stroke penalty with victory in his sights at the same course in 2010, set the early pace with a 66, for six under par.

Woods began with a 75 that left him three over par.
