JTA Concerned About School Closures


President of the Jamaica Teachers Association, JTA Norman Allen, says he’s concerned about the decision of the Education Minister to close 18-schools ahead of the new school year.

And Mr. Allen is calling on the IMF to assist the Jamaican government to pump more resources into struggling schools.
