Justice System Clear-Up Rate Improving, says Chief Justice


The vast majority of parish courts are now clearing more than 90-percent of their cases.

That’s according to Chief Justice Bryan Skyes.

The Chief Justice says he’s encouraged that there’s been a significant improvement, but there’s still a lot of work left to be done.

Chief Justice Sykes, was the keynote speaker at a training of justices of the peace put on by Justice Ministry and National Integrity Action at the Jamaica Conference Centre in Downtown Kingston on Saturday.
