KC Downs JC to Lift ISSA/Walker Cup


Kingston College scored in both halves of the ISSA/Walker Cup football final for a 2-nil win over Jamaica College at the National Stadium, yesterday.

Fabian Grant gave KC the lead in the 1st minute before Andre McCatty double the score in the 54th minute.

This represents the North Street based Institution’s 9th hold on the Knockout title and their first school boy title since 2000.

Meanwhile, Tivoli Gardens High secured their first Hold on the ISSA/Tru Juice Under-14 trophy with a 1-nil win over last year’s winners Kingston College.

Javonte Parnell scored the all important goal for the West Kingston Based school in the 48th minute.
