King Alarm Systems has fired the female security guard who was involved in the recent incident on Braemar Avenue.
Managing Director of King Alarm, John Azar, made the disclosure at a press conference today.
Mr. Azar says the woman was one of three persons charged by King Alarm’s disciplinary team.
Mr. Azar says the disciplinary hearings have also led to a senior supervisor being suspended.
Meanwhile, the King Alarm Systems boss says his security guards tackled the real estate agent, Andrew Woolery, to the ground after they had retrieved his firearm because they didn’t know if he had another weapon.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force, the Firearm Licensing Authority and the Private Security Regulation Authority are also investigating.
