Kingston’s Mayor Encourages Residents to Conserve Water Ahead of Possible Dry Spells Over the Next 3 Months


Mayor of Kingston, Delroy Williams, is urging residents of Kingston and St Andrew to harvest rainwater in case of dry spells between now and March.

The Met Office is predicting more droughts in the first quarter of 2020, following dry spells last year.

Mayor Williams says the municipality will be taking precautionary measures.

He says the municipality is also prepared to truck water where necessary to the communities in case of drought.
