NHT Board member and government Senator Lambert Brown is being condemned for his statement that those civil society groups who’ve suspended their participation in the Partnership For Jamaica, should be barred from sitting on public bodies, like the Integrity Commission.

Speaking yesterday during a meeting of a joint select parliamentary committee reviewing the Integrity Commission Bill, Senator Brown labelled those groups as irresponsible.

Information Minister, Sandrea Falconer, says the comments are unfortunate.
