Llockett McGregor To Be Recognized For Contribution To Sports Development


National tennis coach, Llockett McGregor, is among seven Jamaicans who will be recognized for their contribution to Jamaica’s sporting development.

The National honors and awards will be handed out during the annual ceremony at King’s house, on October 21.

McGregor will be vested with the Order of Distinction in the Officer Class.

The others to be honored are, First Vice-president of the Jamaica Olympic Association, Chris Stokes;

President of MVP Track Club, Bruce James; Horse racing commentators Brian ‘Spuddy’ Rickman.

And Hugh Perry, is being recognised for contributions to cricket and football.

Christopher Dehring and Margaret Beckford are also being recognized
