Local Government Minister, Desmond McKenzie, is urging local government representatives to practice a more admirable form of representation.
He was speaking this afternoon at a meeting of the St. Catherine Municipal Corporation.
Minister Mckenzie notes that many Jamaicans don’t trust the electoral process.
He says many potential voters are turned off by poor political representation.
In the meantime, Minister McKenzie is urging local government officers not to turn away those in need of burial services at public cemeteries.
