PNP Vice Presidential candidate, Dr. Wykeham McNeil, says he has mixed views on a proposal by the party’s leadership aspirant, Dr. Karl Blythe, that public debates be had among those seeking posts at the party’s annual conference next month.
Dr. McNeill says he has no issue with public debates, but the main focus of the upcoming internal elections should be on issues which concern the party’s workers and delegates.
Dr. McNeil says the Vice Presidential candidates have been participating in discussions and debates throughout several PNP regions.
When contacted this afternoon aspirant for one of the four PNP Vice Presidential posts, Dr. Angela Brown Burke, said she’d not comment on Dr. Blythe’s proposal for debates because she did not hear directly what he had to say.
