Four people are dead after being shot by gunmen in separate incidents in St. James last night.

Police have not yet released the identities of those killed. The first shooting took place shortly before 11 last night.

The victims, a man and a woman, both said to be in their late twenties, were shot while travelling on Howard Cooke Boulevard in Montego Bay.

Head of the St. James Police, Senior Superintendent Marlon Nesbeth, says two other people were injured.

Less than an hour after the double homicide, gunmen struck again. This time, they went to Flanker in the parish and killed a man only known as Jamar. Another man was also injured in that shooting. And then, around 3:30 this morning, a 17 year old girl was killed at her home in Green Pond.
