Jamaica Medical Doctors’ Association, JMDA, President, Elon Thomspon, says there’s mixed feedback from junior doctors about the re-location of services which were offered at the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
Dr. Thompson says his members are relieved they’re no longer being exposed to fumes.
Dr. Thompson says the relocation exercise has been taxing on the medical professionals.
The JMDA President says some members feel the re-located accident and emergency unit and the staff clinic may be improved.
He says other doctors are concerned about difficulties they’re having in locating their medical records.
The JMDA President also says no decision has yet been made about whether his members will be taking legal action against the Government because of their exposure to fumes.
